This is a quiet residential area but only a 15/20 min walk to the center of Bath.
Larkhall is a short walk away and boasts a decent sized Co-op for everyday needs as well as boutique shops, restaurants and coffee shops. A far larger super market is at the bottom of the hill off London rd (Morrisons)
The local pub The Claremont is just around the corner. Having been recently renovated it offers some good food and beer as well as regular quiz nights. The pizzas are a must try!
Next to the pub there is a pasta making shop where you can also be taught how to make your own - Pasta Uliana! Buses into town go regularly from this road too (Camden road).
There are in fact 8-10 pubs all within walking distance. Best to have a look on maps online to see them.
Traveling by train is the best option by far and taking a taxi to the house (£10-£15). For a taxi company we recommend v-cars
Larkhall Square Car Park, Bath BA1 6SD, United Kingdom is the best place to park if you have to drive. This is small and pay and display. iT IS A 3 MINUTE DRIVE OR 10 MIN WALK TO THE HOUSE FROM HERE. This website may be useful - 'Parking Scout'
Bath center is a quick bus or taxi away and you can walk it in 15/20 minutes.
Traffic and parking is difficult in Bath so avoid driving into Bath center if possible.
✦ We strongly recommend travelling to Bath by train. If you need a parking permit, just ask us and we’ll assist if any are available.
✦ Parking in Bath can be tricky. Services like ‘Parking Scout’ or ‘Just Park’ are useful for finding suitable spots.
